Pond's Flawless White BB Cream

Hey guys! How have you all been doing? Yet another fail for me on my promise to keep up with my blog. I've been terribly busy juggling life, work, and this new blessing I am cooking. I'll announce it here first, VERY SOON. I'm pretty excited about this and I can't wait to share with you all. Follow me on my networks for the latest update. HINT: I'll be choosing at least 5 people to try it for FREE!

Anyway, let's get this review started. I've had this bb cream for over 5 months I believe, and I have used it a couple of times. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, and a few of my friends asked me what I thought about this, so I decided to get one in a small tube to try. I paid P99 for one tube and bought it from Watsons.

Pond's Flawless White BB Cream comes in 2 shades, light and beige. I am somewhere, in between so I got the light shade. It comes in a plastic tube like most bb creams and has 8g of product. It has a pink undertone, which I'm not a huge fan of, but this one looks better on me than beige. It has that signature Pond's scent, which I am used to because I use Pond's Age Miracle, but may put others off. It's easy to blend on the skin and a little goes a long way. If you want more coverage, you have to allow it to completely set before adding another layer, otherwise, it will cake. This doesn't break me out at all.

Here are some swatches. Not a very good match for my skin because of the pink. I would have liked it more if it had yellow undertones.

Below are before and after photos. The first photo is my bare face, on the right is with Pond's Flawless White BB Cream in Light, bottom left is what it looks like after setting the bb cream with Ben Nye Banana Powder, then lastly with full makeup. I don't like base makeup with pink undertones because it washes me out and makes me look sick. The Ben Nye Banana Powder did the trick here and made a whole lot of difference in this look because it balanced the tone on my face, then with a touch of bronzer of course, for that sun kissed healthy look.

So what do I think about Pond's Flawless White BB Cream? I use it in cooler days like today (it's been cool around here because of the non-stop rain due to the storm) because it can really hold up. On humid days though, not very much. It doesn't melt, but the oil control is quite bad, especially if you have oily skin like me. This works really well with mineral foundation/powder because it creates a dewy finish making you appear fresh and glowing. Staying power for cooler days is 4hrs, but when it's hot, you have about an hour until your facial oil starts to seep through your makeup. I like wearing this with my Maybelline Mineral Foundation in humid days (mineral foundation works best if you have a good base to hold it together). Coverage is light, so if you have imperfections and dark circles you may need to use a concealer to cover it up (I didn't use a concealer anymore in this photo). The price is okay considering that one tube can last you at least 1.5 weeks. It can emphasize dry patches, so make sure to moisturize your skin before you apply it.

Overall, the Pond's Flawless White BB Cream is okay and worked as expected. I will not repurchase anytime soon because I like other brands more, but this is good enough for young girls who are new to bb creams because it is inexpensive, easy to find, and covers just right if you don't have many blemishes.

Have you tried Pond's Flawless White BB Cream yet? How do you like it?
