Did you know that this pressed baby powder is a terrific blotting powder? It's a medicated pressed powder for babies that are allergic to loose powders. At first I was skeptical but it really does work so great. I used this today for 7 hours and my face didn't get oily. It retails at P289 and can be bought in baby's section in department stores. I got mine from SM and boy I was glad they still had it because the lady told me it's the last one already as many are also using this powder. Before I bought this powder I read some reviews about it and I some users compare it with MAC's blotting powder. I cannot attest to that because I haven't tried MAC yet. All I know is this product works so well.
It's a white powder and is also available in pink but it's translucent anyway so it doesn't really matter. It comes with a very soft white sponge for you to use. This one doesn't have a mirror and is made in Japan which I heard works better than the one with the mirror which is made in Indonesia. I heard that the Indonesian version has a scent and doesn't work as great because other users broke out from using it. The product is pressed well and the powder is very fine so it sets the makeup nicely. There isn't any scent so this is perfect for those who have very sensitive skin. This will surely work on anyone as it is formulated for babies. This powder is also perfect for teens starting to use makeup.
Here's the look I wore today to run errands using this powder. I only had tinted moisturizer, powder, bronzer, mascara, lip tint, and lip balm on and I was off. I didn't use too many products but it's still very polished and can keep the face oil free. The product look so much better the moment it sets on the face. It's very light for everyday use and you can still see your natural skin underneath.
Hope this review is helpful :)

ReplyDeletei am currently on my first trimester pregnancy and i was looking for cosmetics that are mild and won't cause any harm to my baby. i had tried using the pigeon face powder (w/ mirror)years before and i find it nice on my face. i bought this compact baby powder and from what i have heard ( from the salesladies as well) this is very good to the skin.
