Fruits and Vegetables Skin Benefits

Hello everyone! Today I read a new article and study about having a healthy glowing skin. In the past, people spend some time to go to the beach to get a good tan. The sun gives the skin a healthy glow although you need to wear a good sun screen protection so you don't end up damaging your skin instead of making it better.


Based on the article that I read from science daily, eating more vegetable such as carrots and tomatoes can give you even more healthy glow than the sun. The researchers found that people who ate more fruits and vegetables have more golden skin color. How? It's because of the substance called carotenoids that is responsible for the red colouring in fruits and vegetables. Carotenoids is an antioxidant that helps absorb damaging free radicals that destroys cells in our body. Not only that, it's also important for our reproductive system and immune system so you not only care for your skin but your overall health.



Eating more fruits and vegetables is even more effective than getting a sun tan. And what's good about that is you can work on getting a healthy glowing skin everyday without exposing yourself to the sun. Now that's a better reason to eat healthy each time because it isn't something that skin care products cannot provide.
