Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Moisture Seduction Lipstick in Nude Perfection

Whew what a long title :). It says "Moisture" twice so you kinda have an idea how moisturizing this lip product is. It's a nude-y peach lip color which to me is just lovely! Avon says it's an ultra-creamy lipstick intertwined with ribbons of hydrating moisture to give you seductively dewy lips. It contains SPF 15 which is plus so the lips is protected from direct sunlight.

lip color info

A have quite a few Avon Cosmetics and my favorites are their lipsticks and mascaras. I think they have really good quality. Although in my experience it's love and hate on their lippies. I have tried quite a few already and about 80% of them are hits which is not too bad. I got this shade because I wanted a nude lip color that I can use everyday and for my smokey eye looks, and I've heard good reviews about this line so I thought of giving it a try.

As you can see on the swatches above, the color is really pretty and dewy that you can wear alone. The shade is a nude-y peach/pink which I really like. This will show up more on fairer skin tones. The product glides on the lips smoothly and it doesn't have an annoying scent or taste so it's a good thing. This actually feels and looks like a tinted lip balm which is like the same concept as Revlon's Lip Butters. Unfortunately lip butters are not yet available in the country but will surely grab one of those once it touches down here :D.

The pigmentation is alright. It gives enough hint of color on the lips which is the purpose why I got this lipstick. It's sheer, has light coverage, and makes the lips look more natural.

What I don't like about this lipstick is it doesn't apply evenly. If you look closer there are some bits of lipsticks on my lips which I don't like looking at. It's not too buildable because once you layer a lot more product, it looks cakey. You may swatch it twice or thrice to add more color without looking like you have too much. Staying power is weak because after an hour and a half it looked like I had nothing on but glitters. I think I would have liked it more if it didn't have shimmers.

Overall this lipstick is above average. It's another love and hate lipstick. I can live without it but I'm still glad I tried it. I wish they have a good cream lipstick without shimmers. I haven't tried their mineral lipstick yet and I wonder how good is that one. If you own one, please do let me know what you think of it  :).

My verdict: 3 STARS!!!
