Elite Mineral Eyeshadow in Candy Girl

This is the fourth Elite Mineral Makeup I'm reviewing and this is their eyeshadow in Candy Girl. It's a pretty two tone pink with gold undertones shadow that you can also use as a blush. The product comes in a transparent twist cap pot with sifter with 5 grams of product. The powder is very finely milled so it doesn't hurt the lid when you apply it with your fingers. It's not talc-y either so you get the true color of the shadow from the packaging.

This shadow/blush is non-comedogenic so you don't have to worry about breakouts. It's produced using only natural and organic materials so it's suitable for all skin types. Elite Mineral don't test on animals nor use animal by products, and only produce them using high quality materials so it's almost certain that you will not experience any irritation, unless you are allergic to any of the organic ingredients they used to produce the product.

very pretty two tone shadow!

I really love the two tone shade because it does give the skin a natural glow. I don't normally like using a blush with shimmers or gold undertones but this one just looks so pretty on my skin, how can I not like it. You may even lightly apply it on top of your cheeks as a highlight. This shade will match fair to tan skin nicely.  It's quite pigmented so you only need a little product on every application especially if you're using it as a blush. This is a great shade to enhance your natural glow this summer! Although you have to use this lightly on the apples of your cheeks if you have oily skin as it can emphasize the pores. The staying power is really impressive. The eyeshadow lasted for more than 8hrs and the blush for about 6hrs on my oily skin. When I use a face primer though it lasts until I remove it (roughly a little more than 8hrs).

I tried the look using 3 different lip shades (nude pink with gloss, coral, and wine mixed with mauve) and I think it looks better with the deeper color like the one on the right since it's matte and counteracts all the shimmers on the cheeks and eyes, while making the complete look glowy and flushed. It was pretty with nude and glossy lips but the cheeks kind of over powered it. Shimmer lips look okay but there's already too much shimmer on the face and the eyes so it's kind of an over kill :). The deeper matte lip made the look more summer fun and I really like it.

My verdict: 5 STARS!!! You can buy this eyeshadow/blush from www.mineralmakeupme.com for $9.99 with 5 grams of product, which is a lot and could last you a long while. A great quality shadow and for the price, this is a good investment.
