Maybelline Angel Fit Perfect Concealer 02 Natural Beige

Hey everybody! I'm back to review the new concealer that I'm using, and it's on the Maybelline Angel Fit Perfect Concealer in 02 Natural Beige. I had a hard time finding the right shade because this is only available in 2 shades, and the 01 Light Beige is a little pink for me. I believe I can always mix it with my lighter concealer or foundation to match my skin tone. I think there's about 8 - 10ml of product on this plastic tube that comes with a doe-foot applicator.

I suppose it was the lighting that convinced me this is a better match for my skin tone. If you look closer in the photos below, it's really dark for me! I'm still a little disappointed about this purchase (only on the color), and I regret not getting the Light Beige. This concealer has a creamy and thick consistency. It offers medium buildable coverage, so I only need to use a small amount on each application. It blends easily and sits comfortably on my skin without caking or creasing. The product feels very light and doesn't make my eyes feel dry or heavy nor sink into my fine lines, so I'm really happy about that part.

This shade neutralizes blue and purple tones so it's okay to use for the under eye circles. This is similar to the Garnier Instant Fairness BB Eye Roll On. Maybelline is only a little more yellow, and it's thicker. I have fair with neutral undertone (more yellow), and I believe the combination of both is perfect for me. I'm not sure yet if I want to get the Light Beige because I'm still pretty dismayed that this didn't match me well. Why buy two of the same product if you can get a perfect match in one, right?

In the photo above, I mixed a small amount of the light concealer and it still appears darker on my skin. I use this mixture when concealing my under my eye cicrcles, and it neutralizes the darkness under my eyes nicely. I have to use equal parts of this and the lighter concealer or foundation to get a good match to my skin.

Now to breakdown the PROS and CONS:

PROS:

  • Good coverage
  • Buildable
  • Doesn't cake
  • Doesn't crease
  • Easy to blend
  • Feels light on the skin
  • Non-drying
  • Long staying

CON:
  • Limited color selection

My verdict: 4 STARS!!! I love this concealer; I just wish they have more shades to choose from. Although it works well if I mix it with a lighter shade, I would have liked it more if I didn't need to use another product to get the right shade.

I hope you found this review helpful. Until next time! Please comment, like, and follow me if you aren't already. Have a Blessed and dazzling Sunday everyone!
