ELF Essential Duo Powder Eye Shadow in Mocha Swirl

Hello everyone! I have another makeup review for you all and this time it's on ELF Essential Duo Powder Eyeshadow in Mocha Swirl. I have reviewed quite a few ELF products already and none of them have disappointed me yet! I have this same shade on a cream duo eye shadow and I love it too! I thought of using the cream shadow as a base to make the color adhere more but I decided not to do that because I wanted to see how long this will last. I got this for P129.75 at SM Department Store, you can buy this online at eyeslipsface.com for $1, or you can also find this on  Ebay. It has 4 grams of product, so 2 grams each which I think it will last quite a long time. It's on a black plastic packaging with a transparent top.

Both colors are really very pretty and can be worn everyday makeup or even for night out. I did a smokey eye look with this but you can certainly use the mocha shade all over the lid and the lighter shade as a highlight for a simple but polished look. These shadows has a creamy consistency, it has a good pigmentation, very easy to use, and blend. It didn't take me long to do my eye makeup at all and I enjoyed working it on my and crease. I did not use a primer prior to the application yet it looked the same after 6 hours. You can build it up according to the depth you like and it won't crease! It's really true to it's word that it's long wear and crease resistant.

Here's a photo of me wearing this eye shadow. I have the Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Coral Sunrise and I will be reviewing that today as well so please check it out too. 

Overall this product works great and for the price, you cannot believe the quality of this eye shadow. I actually wanted to get the Butter Pecan too but all the powder eye shadows were sold out :). I'll surely purchase a different shade once they become available.

VOV Eyeshadow Swatches and Review

VOV Eyeshadows in 06 and 09

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I last did a review because I have been sick. I'm feeling a little bit okay now and in the mood to do another review on VOV Eyeshadow that I purchased last night. I've heard about this cosmetic brand which I think is Korean from YouTube. One of my favorite makeup artist xteeener has mentioned and used this brand so when I saw it last night I knew I had to try it. It comes in a rounded plastic packaging with a tiny but very soft sponge applicator. There's 2.6 grams of product which I believe should take me awhile to reach the pan because it's just so pigmented! And the best thing about this product is the price! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that it only retails at P34.75 (less than $1). So I thought I try this 2 shades first so see if it's something I could use before I go crazy and buy more.

The powder is very fine and pressed well. What you see on the packaging is what you get. The shadow is unbelievably pigmented. The swatch I did on my hands lasted for long hours. It's very much blendable and amost has a creamy consistency. Building the color up is also not a problem. I love how vivid the shades are. The pearl base makes the shadow look more pretty.

I haven't tried this on my lids yet but I believe it will work as great. I think the black shadow will look great when smudged on the lower lash line :). This shadow is reasonably priced, very pigmented, long staying, and the colors are very pretty. I don't know what more I can ask for :). This is a great buy and will soon check out other shades and share them with you all! I give this product 4.5 STARS!

EDIT:

I tried this on today but only did my eyes just so I can try this and show you guys and I like it a lot! The application was easy and the out come is just pretty. I had to use a third shadow, Cover Girl Eye Enhancers in Pink Chiffon, for the inner part of my lid and as highlight. I used the black shadow to line my upper and lower lash line and it makes a soft line that I just like. I will definitely try other shades from VOV. I hope they have neutral colors too :).

Cover Girl Eye Enhancers in Aqua Paradise 690

Good day to all! I have another product review on Cover Girl Eye Enhancers 1 Kit Shadow Aqua Paradise 690. It's a very pretty and fun shimmer aqua shadow. It comes in a sturdy plastic packaging, with 2.5 grams of product, and a smooth applicator that works great in packing the shadow on the lids.

I love how vibrant and intense the color is. This isn't a very easy shade to pull off for everyday use but you can definitely work it alone or with other shades. When I swatched it the color picked up nicely and I didn't use too much product. I even poured water over it and it's still showing pretty well. I love the staying power and the pigmentation of this shadow. If you want it to look bolder and stay a lot longer you are welcome to use a primer. It is very easy to blend and build for a more intense effect. It has just enough shimmer to make it look pretty on the lids. The shadow is very fine and is pressed well so fall out is not an issue.

Cover Girl Eye Enhancers in Aqua Paradise 690 Swatch

Cover Girl Eye Enhancers has a lot of colors to choose from. In the US this is considered as a drugstore product but not in the country because it's a little bit pricey. However, I think it's still worth the price because this is a good quality shadow. It's longer staying, pigmented, vibrant color, and looks really good on the lids. You can't go wrong with this eyeshadow at all. I give this product 4.5 STARS and I will definitely buy this again. Hope this helps! More review coming soon so please stay tuned. Elf Natural Eyeshadow Palette Swatches and Review

Hello all! I've been busy so I haven't been here to post a new review. So the product I am reviewing today is the ELF Natural Eyeshadow Palette that comes is 6 earth colors. I just love this palette a lot because all the shades I need for a natural smokey look are here.

Included in the palette is a small eyeshadow brush and a mirror for your convenience. I appreciate that they included an eyeshadow brush and a mirror because sometimes it comes in handy when you travel, need to retouch, or need to apply it on the road. The brush is really small but still very usable and can help blend out colors on your lids. Below are the swatches of the eyeshadow in their order on the palette.

The first 2 shadows have glitters on them and makes it fun to wear in the evening. I like that the darkest color to the right is matte so when you do your smokey eye look and contour your eyes it doesn't appear too shimmery. The powder isn't pressed so well though so you have to be careful with fallouts. You might want to put loose powder under the eye area so it's easy to remove the fallouts when you dust it off. You can also apply your foundation after doing your eye makeup. The shadow is very pigmented and sticks on the skin well. Just a small amount goes a long way. Don't press your eyeshadow brush on the product too much because you could get more than what you need to use. Like I mentioned it isn't pressed very well and almost has a creamy texture to it. You have to tap your brush after you dip it on the product to remove the excess and help reduce the fallouts. It's easy to apply, very blendable, and buildable. Staying power is also great and it doesn't crease. You can never go wrong with this palette as you're getting more than what it's worth. For the price of only P249.75 ($3 from the website) you have 6 gorgeous and quality colors that costs more in other brands. I give this product 4.5 STARS and I will try the other shades they have.

IN2IT Sheer Eye Colour Swatches and Review

IN2IT Sheer Eye Colour EY 11 Sunset

IN2IT has wide variety of makeup products to choose from at a very affordable price. You get two beautiful shades for only P229. I expected less of this product before because I it's not a known brand. However, I still tried it because I was really hoping to hit an affordable yet quality makeup. I'm glad that I did as the product is really amazing. 

IN2IT Sheer Eye Colour EY 11 Sunset Swatches

This shade is in Sunset EY 11. It has a golden shadow with yellow undertones and a brown shadow with gold undertones. These shades really work well together and can also look good with other shades. It has a powdery cream texture which is very easy to apply on the lid. The product is very pigmented, blendable, and buildable. Not only that, the staying power is really impressive, can stay the whole day, and doesn't crease. You cannot go wrong with this eyeshadow because it's not only affordable but also a good quality. I have a 2 other different shades and I will be posting swatches and review about it soon. 

I didn't need to use a primer for this anymore as the product shows up on the lid very well because of its consistency. A little amount of this shadow goes a long way. You can use it with the sponge tip applicator that it came with, you can use your fingers, or a brush for easy blending. Either way it still looks great! This shade is all you need to create a pretty smokey eye, and they have other varieties to choose from to achieve the looks you want. This product deserves 5 STARS! LA Colors Flip Top Eyeshadow Haul, Swatch, and Review

Hello everyone! This is another review on eyeshadows and this time on LA Colors Flip Top Eyeshadow. The moment I saw these colors I fell in love right away because they are just so pretty. I thought these shadows make a great combination in a smokey eye look. 

PE210 Pink Champagne/ PE211 Berry / PE225 Chocolate

The shadows are very fine and pigmented but not pressed very well so expect fall outs during application.  You have to pack the shadows in very carefully to avoid messy fall outs under your eyes. It has few glitters which adds fun when you wear it. The colors can definitely be worn alone because it's so vibrant or you can mix and match it too. It has a creamy texture that makes it so easy to blend. You can also build the colors and lightly layer it for a bolder effect. 

PE210 Pink Champagne/ PE211 Berry / PE225 Chocolate

On the second photo taken without flash, it comes out matte because there are only a few glitters on the product so you don't see it reflecting on the image. During application you just need a tiny bit of product because the color pay off is really impressive. You definitely get what you see on the packaging. It comes in 3.5 grams of shadow which will last you a very long time since a little product goes a long way. The moment I opened it though, the flip cap of the Chocolate shade came off which is bummer. I was able to return it but it doesn't cover the product well anymore. However, that doesn't change the fact that this is a very good quality shadow that I will continue purchasing. They don't test on animals either (isn't that great?!). I give this product 5 STARS!!!

Maybelline New York EyeStudio Swatch and Review

This is another review on Maybelline New York EyeStudio in Banana Split. I used this quad the other day on my Smokey Taupe Eyes Look and I think it went pretty well. I have worn the 2 brown shades on this quad a couple times but haven't had the chance to swatch and write a review about the product.

These colors are really pretty. It has everything you need to create different smokey eye look. These color are really blendable, buildable, and long staying. It's not highly pigmented but the color picks up well if you have a primer on. The quality of this product is really good and it's also easy on the budget. You have a lot of product and will surely last a long time. 

These shades are ideal for everyday smokey eye because it isn't too dramatic. You can wear the shadows alone or mix and match them to create a look that you like. You can also use these shadows with other bolder eyeshadow color you have if you want to achieve a more dramatic smokey eye. Hope this review helps!
