Loreal Revitalift Double Lifting

Hey everyone! Today's post is about a skin-care moisturizer that I have been loving for 6 months, and it's the Loreal Revitalift Double Lifting. I have been looking for a good anti-wrinkle product and have tried Ponds and Olay Total Effects, but I'm not very satisfied as my skin tends to become immune to the formula and stops responding. I always have to change my moisturizer to get the most out of it. So I finally decided to try this one, which I actually have been eyeing for a long time. This is a new formulation with 50% more tensing actives which is good if you want to re-tighten your skin. It contains 30ml of product which I think will last me for another month or so which is really great!

Instruction for use and list of ingredients

Instructions for Use:
Activate the pump before the first application by pressing on it several times. Apply adequate pressure on the center of the pump, where indicated, to dispense a sufficient amount of the two formula.

What Loreal says:
The double pump of Double Lifting combines in one gesture 2 exclusive and complementary formula: an ultra tensing gel and an anti-wrinkle care for an intense and minutes lifting effect.

Your skin is double lifted:
In minutes, skin is visibly re-tightened. Cheekbones and contours appear lifted, wrinkles are reduced. In 4 weeks, wrinkles are visibly reduced, face contours is  like redefined.

Usage:
Use everyday, morning and evening, on thoroughly cleansed face and neck. Alternatively, you can apply it as:
- Morning and evening in combination with your day and night cream
- As 2 week treatment, in the morning to complement your daily routine

The first time I applied this product on the back of my hand when I was testing it at the mall, I was really impressed because I can really tell the difference when I compared it with my other hand; it was firmer and rejuvenated. I knew then I had to get this even before checking the reviews first because I saw what it can do.

This is how the product looks like. The white cream is an anti-wrinkle cream enriched with Pro-Retinol A to fight wrinkles and fine lines efficiently. The red one is the tensing gel that is concentrated with Pro-Tensium, a powerful tensing mineral active that forms a resisting and flexible network to re-tighten the skin's surface instantly.

I only use 1 1/2 pumps and it's enough to cover my face and neck. When I apply it on my face, I feel that my skin is a little warm and the product is doing it's job. After a few minutes my skin is firmer and fine lines are visibly reduced. I normally use it on top of my Loreal Hydrafresh in the morning, and in combination with my St Ives Collagen Elastin in the eveing to give my skin more moisturization, and it works fine without causing me any allergic reaction. Sometimes I just use it alone and it works just as good. I love that it's non-greasy and it doesn't clog my pores.

My verdict: 4.5 STARS!!! When my skin becomes dull, I always turn to Loreal because I never break out using their skin-care products, and it never fails to work great on my skin.

Please comment, like, and follow me if you aren't already. Have a dazzling day everyone!

Loreal Hydrafresh Anti-Shine Moisturizer

Hey everyone! I have a skin-care product review for you all, and this is on the Loreal Hydrafresh Anti-Shine Moisturizer. I have been using this moisturizer for over 2 months now, and this has improved the staying power of my makeup. Not only, it has minimized the appearance of my pores, which is really amazing, but it controlled my oil. I was in search for a good oil free moisturizer because my face lotions before didn't do good in controlling my oil, especially when I have my makeup on. I was eyeing the Celetech oil-free moisturizer but stumbled upon this one instead. I decided to get it because it reminded me of my Pure Zone Moisturizer, which is already discontinued. I didn't even check the reviews before I bought this and this was a good buy fortunately :D.

I love the packaging a lot because it's in glass, and contains 50ml of product. It's in a tub though so you have to scoop out the moisturizer from the container which could be unhygienic. So I always make sure that I wash my hands and apply hand sanitizer before using it, or use a small rubber cosmetic spatula. It's in gel form so it's easy to blend, instantly absorbed by the skin, and very light-weight it almost feels you applied water on your face. I love the cooling effect that it gives, and you can feel that your skin is refreshed and pores are tightened! It's oil-free, but it provides a good amount of moisture that my skin needs. I have never broken out nor experienced any allergic reaction using this product.

Loreal Hydrafresh Anti-Shine Moisturizer

It does mattify the skin, but it leaves some sort film, that when you rub it off, it looks like you got a bunch of dead skin that was kind of annoying at first. I learned after a few uses though that once it sets, I should just leave it alone because that film keeps the skin matte and shine-free :D. The pros outweigh the small con, so I still love this product. It doesn't make my skin feel greasy at all which is great. Of course, the best thing about this moisturizer is it tightened my pores, and that's the main reason why I love it.

I got this for P395 and for the price, you really get a lot of benefits! It does the job and lives up to my expectation. This product helped my skin become healthier, and I'm happy. So far, I haven't found an oil-free moisturizer on the market (on this price range) that does a better job.

My verdict: 5 STARS!!!

Loreal Visible Lift Firming Foundation

I've recently been using this Loreal Visible Lift Firming Foundation to see how much I like it over my Revlon Colorstay. My Aunt gave it to me when she came home last year, and I only decided to use it now. I'm not a huge foundation user because it's just not good for my skin. The longer I use a foundation; I feel like my skin becomes dull, dry, and I start to break out. Well, I don't really have too much experience with foundation, and I'm only speaking from my experience with my Revlon Colorstay, and I have to say that I have a love-hate relationship with this foundation since I started using it, and I was hoping that my experience will be different with Loreal.

Loreal Visible Lift Firming Foundation in Nude Beige

Loreal Visible Lift Firming Foundation Ingredients

This foundation has skin firming properties, helps to minimize fine lines, and has spf17, which is a good amount of sun protection. I love that it comes in a glass packaging with pump, which makes it easy to dispense the right amount of product per application. The consistency is slightly thick, but not as thick as the Colorstay. It has a mild foundation scent, easy to blend, buildable, and moisturizing. I only use my fingers to apply it, and it glides on my skin like butter. It doesn't cake up, and I just love that I don't need to work too much on my face routine with this foundation because the application is pretty easy. It doesn't dry fast so you can take your sweet time blending it on your face. I don't feel any stinging, no allergic reaction, and I didn't break out using this foundation for about two weeks now. I love how this foundation gives my skin a beautiful glow.

Loreal Visible Lift Firming Foundation Consistency

Loreal Visible Lift Firming Foundation Hand Swatch

Below is a photo of me before and after applying this foundation. I'm fair with yellow and some slightly pink undertones, and Nude Beige suits me well. If you look at the photo below, this foundation does a great job at evening out my skin tone, but I can still see my skin peeking through. You can double it up as a concealer too. A little goes a long way with this foundation. The amount I have on the back of my hand above is what I needed to cover my face. I don't feel comfortable wearing a thick foundation, and this is just perfect. This stays on my face the whole day and it doesn't oxidize (yay!).

I have oily skin, but this works on my skin well. I love that it gives a dewy effect making the skin look younger and firmer. I always set it with translucent loose powder to make sure that it doesn't move or melt on this hot weather. On camera my face appears super bright because of the flash, but this foundation looks great on natural light. I believe this is suitable for ages 25 up. I wouldn't recommend you to use it if you're younger when your skin doesn't need firming and visible lifting.

Wearing Loreal Visible Lift Firming Foundation in Nude Beige

This foundation is camera-friendly even with spf17. Above is a photo of me wearing this foundation. I was going to use this on my FOTD post but decided to add it here anyway so you all can see how it looks like after you apply the rest of your face makeup.

I believe this is already discontinued in the US (my Aunt got this in Canada) and is also not available locally, which is too bad because I think that many women would have liked this as well. I really like the foundation, and it's too bad I won't be able to repurchase this.

My verdict: 5 STARS!!! I love this foundation and prefer this over my Revlon Colorstay!

L'oreal Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Serum

I have dry and frizzy hair so taking care of it is not really easy. I have very fine hair and frizz is really one of my problems. I always just want to tie my hair back so I don't need to deal with it anymore but I just can't do that forever if I want my hair's condition to improve. I don't naturally have dry hair. It only got dry after I used a hair color brand that I am never trying again :(. I do condition my hair more now to restore it's moisture so aside from my leave on conditioner I use hair serum to manage my frizzy hair more. I don't like using serums a lot because I don't like the greasy feel. However this product is different since it's not as thick and oily as the other hair serums, but does the job better in my experience. I have tried several brands and end up not liking them until this one and I'm really happy about it. It's a little more pricey compared to other brands but it's definitely worth it because there's 100ml of serum and will take awhile to finish! The packaging is cure and I like the pump because it dispenses enough product and doesn't spill.

ingredients listed...

I apply this after I massage the leave on conditioner on to my hair or after heat styling my hair to give it a polished and shiny look. One to 2 pumps is more than enough to control my rebellious hair LOL. It's actually the baby hairs that are stubborn but I'm not hating it. At least they're still growing back, right?! :D

The serum doesn't weigh the hair down if you apply the right amount and it just makes my dry hair intensely smooth, shiny, and tangle free. I use it with L'oreal anti-frizz shampoo, conditioner, and treatment and it's the best team to care for my dry hair. I do use other deep conditioning products too though so I don't give all the credits to L'oreal :). I'm just so desperate to get my healthy hair back so I am using deep conditioning treatments more than once a week. So far my efforts have been fruitful and my hair's condition is better now :).

My verdict is definitely 5 STARS!!!. Anyone who are bothered by their frizzy hair should try this product. It's really worth it!

L'oreal Colour Riche Lipstick 427 Summer Coral Swatches and Review

Hello all! Here's another lipstick review from L'oreal Colour Riche Lipstick 427 Summer Coral. When I got this from my Aunt as a present, I was so thrilled because I love L'oreal and the color is so pretty. I am currently into corals and orange lip colors so I'm really excited about it. I'm not sure how much this costs in the market right now but I think it's between P500 and P600 with 3.6 grams of product. You can get this from any L'oreal stalls on any department stores nationwide.

L'oreal Colour Riche Lipstick Summer Coral 427

The formula of the lipstick prevents smudging to bring vibrant color. It's enriched with Vitamin E and Omega 3 oils to moisturize the lips and keep it looking fresh and smooth. As for the packaging, it's the same as the other colour riche lipsticks - gold plastic tube which for me is very neat and pretty and I like it!. I also love the signature clean smell of L'oreal lipsticks because it makes the application even more enjoyable. As for the pigmentation, it's really good. I only need to swatch it once for the color to pay off. It stays on for long and the fact that it doesn't smudge is a great deal for me.

I took 2 photos so you see what it looks like on different lighting condition. It's a pearl lipstick so you'll notice some shine. The shade is really pretty and will look best on fair skin but should suit any skin tone just fine.

This is the second colour riche lipstick I have and I love both of them. I've never complained or had any issues with L'oreal products at all from hair care, skin care, to cosmetics. Would I purchase this myself? Definitely yes! My verdict: 5 STARS.

Should you have any questions, just shoot me an email via the contact me page or just leave a comment! I hope this review was helpful to you. Until my next product review. Take care everyone!

L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick Crystal Candy 415 Swatches and Review

Hello everyone! I have another lip product review for you today and it's on the L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Crystal Candy 415. This was given to me by my Aunt when I went out of town to visit my grandfather last week. I'm not sure how much this lipstick is in the market right now so I'm sorry if I don't have that info on this post. I really love the gold packaging but the cap doesn't hold tight so that's the only thing I dislike about it.

L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick Crystal Candy 415

L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick Crystal Candy 415

The swatches on my lips and the back of my hand shows how gorgeous the color is. It's a sheer rosey pink lipstick with gold shimmers in it. I'm not a fan of shimmer lipsticks but this one is different. It looks so pretty. You can wear it in day time but looks lovelier in the night time. This should look perfect on a smokey eye.

I had to take 2 images with different lighting to show you how pretty this shade is. It's very moisturizing and it has a distinct L'oreal lipstick scent which I really enjoy. This lipstick keeps my lips soft, smooth, and hydrated. It could last for hours but rubs off and transfers easy when you eat or drink but this isn't a long wear lipstick so it's fine with me. I totally love this lipstick and I'm happy I got it for free :D.

This lip color is very similar to Avon Ultra Moisture Rich 24K Gold Lipstick in Pink. I have tried that before and they have the same gold packaging, the shade is about the same, and it's very sheer too. L'oreal is more moisturizing though. I don't have the pink anymore because I think I gave it to someone, I don't remember anymore, but I still have the golden peach. See swatch below:

Loreal (pink) and Avon (peach) swatches

I still have a few lipsticks that I'm yet to use but if I didn't I will most certainly repurchase in another shade. I give this lipstick 5 STARS!!!

Loreal Endless Kissable Lip Colour Swatches and Review

Loreal Endless Kissable Lip Colour Roses in Bloom

Here's another review on the L'Oreal Endless Kissable Lip Colour 225 Roses In Bloom. Loreal has a lot of lipstick shades that I really love and this is one of it. This is in Roses in Bloom and as the name says, this is a rose shade lipstick that is just great on any skin tone and good for everyday use. I love the sleek and slender gold packaging as I can just carry it in my pocket and retouch anytime.

Loreal Endless Kissable Lip Colour 225

It says on the package that it's zero-transfer and extreme wear and it's true to its word. I already did a review on Loreal Endless Kissable Lip Colour in Finest Wine #710 before and they work just the same. If you don't want to use a bold lipstick, you will like this one because it's soft and looks very natural. I think this shade is one of the few that I really love on my lips.

One swatch of this lipstick is enough for the color to pick up. It has a satin finish so it looks like you have healthy lips but the moment you have it on though it feels drying. When you retouch, you are adding up to the color that is already on your lips which later makes me feel uncomfortable. It's a little heavy on the lips as the product sticks there really good. However, that makes the lipstick long wearing and this is what this product is all about so I should just stop complaining :). The staying power is remarkable that you can remove it with a tissue but it ain't easy to wipe off. An eye makeup and lipstick remover can clean it well. If you want a long staying lipstick that you can wear to work, gathering, or a meeting this is a good one to try because you will look more polished and you don't need to worry about bleeding lipstick anymore.

I give this product 4 STARS!
