Etude House Proof 10 Aqua Tint in 01

I was so excited when I saw this lip tint because it's waterproof. Who wouldn't want for their lip tint to be long lasting, right?! I got this together with the Proof 10 Auto Pencil Eyeliner which is also supposedly a waterproof product. Just click the link to check out my review about it. I got this from Etude House for P328 with 12g of product.

Etude House Proof 10 Aqua Tint in 01

Etude House Proof 10 Aqua Tint in 01 Swatch

The shade I got was the pink red tint since I already have my Tony Moly tint in red. There was another shade available in 02 red orange. It's water base and is said to be waterproof which got me too excited about it. You can also use this as a cheek tint if you want to and comes with a sponge tip applicator like some of their lip products.

Etude House Proof 10 Aqua Tint in 01 Swatch
As you can see on the photo, it provides a natural pink tint and doesn't look dry. It feels light on the lips and very comfortable to wear. You can wear this alone or top it off with a lip gloss or under a lipstick to add more intensity to your lip color.

This isn't as pigmented as I wanted it to be and not as long staying. You have to slowly build it up if you want more color. I had to swatch it 5 times for the tint to really pick up because it's very sheer. As a waterproof product I expected stay longer but it gets easily removed. For me it's another fail product from their Proof 10 line.

PROS:
Light on the lips
Looks natural
Non-drying
Can be worn alone

CONS:
Easily removed
Very sheer
Overall I still love this tint for everyday use. It's a great product for teens because the color is not too intense.
My verdict: 3.5 STARS
Would I repurchase: Yes, will surely try the red shade
Would I recommend it? I would to those who wants a light/natural tint

Etude House Lip Products and Concealer Haul

I am a huge fan of Korean brands especially of Etude House because their products are reasonable and the quality is really good. I have a few lip products from Etude House and I love them all but my most favorite is the 55 Kissful Tint Chou in 001. It's a lip tint with gloss that you can wear by itself. It's very long lasting and you only need a small amount of product to look refreshed and polished.

So I was in their shop last week to look for a good orange lip tint or lipstick and I think I got a little carried away. I was only planning to get one product but I couldn't help myself. I had to stop myself from getting 3 more lip products because I think I was not being practical anymore. I'll get them next time for sure :D. Prices are listed below for those who wants to know how each item costs.

Left: Dear Darling Lip Tint 03 P198
Top: Surprise Essence Concealer 01 P298
Middle: Lucidarling Fantastic Rouge 13 Coral Tangerine P478
Bottom: Tangerine Sweet Shower Lips 03 Miss Sunny Tangerine P398
Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam 30ml FREE

I love all of them a lot! I got a little crazy but I think they are worth it because the lip products are really pretty. The concealer also works really well. When I tested it in the store, it concealed my blemishes pretty well and it didn't cake so I was tempted to get it too. I was happy that they gave me a free item. I think it's part of their promotion this month. I don't know the price of the cleanser so sorry to those who are wanting learn about the cost of this product. I'll writer a review and post some swatches on each product very soon. I probably will try the lip tint first because I have been dying to have an orange lip tint.

That's all for now everyone! If you have any questions please let me know. Take care!

L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick Crystal Candy 415 Swatches and Review

Hello everyone! I have another lip product review for you today and it's on the L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Crystal Candy 415. This was given to me by my Aunt when I went out of town to visit my grandfather last week. I'm not sure how much this lipstick is in the market right now so I'm sorry if I don't have that info on this post. I really love the gold packaging but the cap doesn't hold tight so that's the only thing I dislike about it.

L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick Crystal Candy 415

L'oreal Color Riche Lipstick Crystal Candy 415

The swatches on my lips and the back of my hand shows how gorgeous the color is. It's a sheer rosey pink lipstick with gold shimmers in it. I'm not a fan of shimmer lipsticks but this one is different. It looks so pretty. You can wear it in day time but looks lovelier in the night time. This should look perfect on a smokey eye.

I had to take 2 images with different lighting to show you how pretty this shade is. It's very moisturizing and it has a distinct L'oreal lipstick scent which I really enjoy. This lipstick keeps my lips soft, smooth, and hydrated. It could last for hours but rubs off and transfers easy when you eat or drink but this isn't a long wear lipstick so it's fine with me. I totally love this lipstick and I'm happy I got it for free :D.

This lip color is very similar to Avon Ultra Moisture Rich 24K Gold Lipstick in Pink. I have tried that before and they have the same gold packaging, the shade is about the same, and it's very sheer too. L'oreal is more moisturizing though. I don't have the pink anymore because I think I gave it to someone, I don't remember anymore, but I still have the golden peach. See swatch below:

Loreal (pink) and Avon (peach) swatches

I still have a few lipsticks that I'm yet to use but if I didn't I will most certainly repurchase in another shade. I give this lipstick 5 STARS!!!

ELF Essential Cherry Tart Liquid Lipstick

ELF Essential Liquid Lipstick Cherry Tart

I have another makeup review for you and this on the ELF Essential Liquid Lipstick in Cherry Tart. I have had this since December but only had the chance to open it :). Just like the other Essential products from ELF they only retail at P129.75 or $1 from eyeslipsface.com with 1.5 grams of products.

Elf Essential Liquid Lipstick in Cherry Tart Swatch

What can I say, I love ELF! There's no reason not to love them because they are quality products and very affordable. This particular color is amazing because it gives a very fresh look. It's a sheer liquid lipstick, very moisturizing, gives a glossy finish, and true to its color. It has a sponge tip and a twist bottom that releases the product. I like the packaging because it's very clean looking and not messy because you only get the product if you twist if from the bottom so it won't spill at all. It's also long lasting which was a surprise because I was expecting it to rub off easily as it's a liquid lipstick. The application is even and it's very easy to use. One great thing I like about it is the cooling effect it gives on the lips like a mentholatum lip balm. With only a few application, I can feel that my lips are a little softer. Not only that, it has a pleasant taste and smell too!

PROS:

Moisturizing
Even application
True to the color
Glossy finish
Long lasting
Nice packaging
Very affordable

CONS:

I seriously can't think of one :)

There are good variety of colors to choose from and I will surely get another one soon. This product deserves 5 STARS!!!

ELF Studio Red Carpet Lip Stain Review and Swatches

ELF Studio Red Carpet Lip Tint

I wonder why I just got my hands on the ELF Lip Stain. It's been available in the market for awhile but I didn't notice it at all. I have been enjoying my Tony Moly Lip Tint and I guess I wasn't looking for a replacement because it's just so good . I was so anxious to try their tint to see if it's as good as their other products. I got this for P249.75 or you can get them from their website eyeslipsface.com for $3.

You have the stain on the other side and a clear gloss on the other, both have sponge tip applicators. I tried using it without the gloss but that just didn't work because it dries the lips pretty bad. Below are some swatches without and with gloss.

ELF Studio Red Carpet Lip Tint Swatch

ELF Studio Red Carpet Lip Tint Swatch

On the second image the light was washing the color off so I took another shot. The last image shows the closest color intensity in person. It's really very red and true to its name Red Carpet :). It's nice to wear if you want to look polished even without putting so much makeup on. What I love about this tint is that it's very very pigmented! It has a creamy consistency, the color is very intense for a tint, and very opaque. It dries pretty fast and when it does it's kinda difficult to get it off. It's very long lasting that I didn't retouch the whole time I was out. The gloss wore off but the stain remained on my lips even after I ate. It transfers very very easily though so you have to be careful when you wear this. It definitely lasts longer than other lipstick, lip gloss, or my Tony Moly and Etude Lip Tints.

This has a smell so it may put other users off. Another thing I don't like about it is that the product doesn't close very well so the gloss tends to leak which is a bummer. On another note it's still a pretty good and long lasting lip stain for the price. I like it overall only that I was hoping I could use it without the gloss. I rate this lip stain 4 STARS! Will surely repurchase another shade :).

Watson's Magic Lip Balm Swatches and Review

Watson's Magic Lip Balm

I have used this lip balm since 2004 and I just love it so much. The protection that it gives to the lips is just great at SPF30. I always use this during the summer and on the beach and I've never had issues with dried up, sun burned, or chapped lips because of too much exposure to sunlight before thanks to this product. It doesn't only protect the lips from UVA and UVB rays but it also gives the lips a fresh and pinkish tint. It works just like the Lip Ice Sheer Color Lip Conditioner but it has higher SPF and it's cheaper! This product contains vitamins A, C, and E to provide antioxidant benefits and deep moisturization to keep the skin soft and healthy. I got this for P99 at Watson's for 2grams of product. I have a few lip balms but this is my go to lip product when going to the beach during the summer. No need to bring a lip tint and a lip balm because this product has them both.

Watson's Magic Lip Balm

Aside from the protection and the tint, I also love the smell of this lip balm. It has a strawberry scent that makes the application more fun. Also it's long staying and doesn't feel greasy at all like other lip conditioners. If I am feeling lazy, I grab this anytime and I am all set :). I seldom see this available at Watson's and I have been searching for this lip balm for awhile now and at long last I saw it being displayed at the counter last week so I guess it only comes out during the summer. So if you love this product you better buy more than just one like I did lol.

Above is a swatch of me using this lip balm on my lips and you can see that it appears like I have a lip tint on. It actually looks more pinkish in person but the flash on my camera washed it out a little :(.

It does work like magic and I give this lip balm 5 STARS!!! Have a wonderful day everyone! Hope you liked this review.

Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick Swatch and Review

A pleasant Sunday to everyone! How are you all doing? Like I mentioned on my previous post, I will try other shades of the Ever Bilena Matte lipstick and I did buy another one yesterday. The shade I got this time is in SIENNAS. It's in a black plastic twist tube with 4grams of lip color which I think is a lot. At the bottom of the packaging is a swatch making it easy to know what the shade is without opening the product. It retails at P99 ($2.30).

Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Siennas

I wanted to get a brownish shade but this one appeared reddish on my lips. It's creamy but only gives a sheer wash of color when applied. On the photos the lipstick is reddish with a brown under tone but just appeared red on my lips. I don't have bad things to say about this lip color as it does what it's supposed to do. It's long staying, unscented, affordable, moisturizing, and wearable. I tried using this with Mauvey on top and it created a pretty rose shade and I am loving it more. I like how it is matte but doesn't dry my lips, it doesn't have an awful smell, it stays on for long, and very pigmented. So far no irritation so I can say that this one is definitely a HIT. You would expect something less for its price but you will be surprised how good this one works and how pretty it looks on the lips.

Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Siennas

Overall this lipstick is great and I will have to buy another one as I originally intended to get a brown shade. I will have 2 more lipsticks for review coming up this week from Avon and ELF and probably another shade of this matte lipstick so please check it out too :). This product deserves another 4 STARS! Hope you like this review and find it helpful.

Lip Ice Haul, Swatches, and Review

Hello everyone! I'm on a roll today with all the reviews because it's my day off tomorrow. I don't normally have time to post in my blog because I tend to go out during Sundays. So this is another review on Lip Ice lip products. I love my carmex but I was looking for another alternative that I may like and I came across lip ice. I didn't know that SM has it already and to my excitement, I purchased 3 different products. I got the mentholatum lip balm in strawberry, a color lip balm, and a color gloss.

Mentholatum Lip Ice in Strawberry

The mentholatum lip balm gives a cooling sensation in your lips just like carmex but a little less strong. It's a clear lip balm unlike the sheer lip balm version. What I love about it is it's very moisturizing. It doesn't leave a greasy feel on the lips and I like that a lot. It also provides coolness to the lips which I find very comforting. Another good thing about this lip balm is it has SPF15 which protects the lips from the damaging effects of sunlight. It retails at P89 in Watson's.

Lip Ice Color Lip Balm in Candy Apple

With Lip Ice Color Lip Balm in Candy Apple

This one really got my attention because I like how slender and clean the packaging is. You can just fit it into your pocket very well. It's a color lip balm which means it gives color like a lipstick but has the moisturizing and soothing effect of a lip balm. It contains vitamin e, lanolin, meadowfoam seed oil, and mango seed butter to keep the lips soft and moisturized. Sometimes it's nice to have this kind of lip product  if you want to give your lips enough time to breathe but still want it to have a nice hint of natural color. No gloss needed because this one has it all. As you can see on the photo it gives a natural hint of tint and moisture to the lips. It also comes with SPF15 for UV protection. This is ideal for teens or those who are allergic to strong ingredients from lipsticks. It retails at P125.

Lip Ice Color Gloss in Candy Apple
Lips just with Lip Ice Color Gloss

Unlike the Color Lip Balm, this one is really sheer and gives a little hint of color but it gives a healthy glossy shine to the lips. It's a good lip gloss to use on top of any lipstick. You may also wear this alone if you like just a little hint of color but glossy lips. This is good for everyday natural look and also ideal for teens who are starting up with makeup. It contains antioxidants from vitamin e and SPF15 that helps maintain a healthy and smooth lips. It comes in a soft squeeze tube and retails at P125.

Hope you enjoy this review! Take Care :D
