The Face Shop Nail Polish Haul

The Face Shop is holding a buy 3 + 1 promotion on their P95 polishes. It's a great savings if you are a fan of nail colors because you get one for free :D. I brought home 4 new shades which are really pretty. Before the promotion I bought 2 other shades and I wished I waited longer :D. I reviewed the BR806 yesterday and will be doing the yellow one I got soon. For now here are the polishes I got. 2 greens (GR), 1 brown shade (BR), and 1 purple (PP. I actually already have the purple and have half of the bottle left but I just love this color a lot so I wanted to get it again.

I super love their paper bag :)

nice box...

in shades BR802 / GR501 / PP406 / GR502

Those polishes with black handles have glitters on them and is perfect for the coming holidays and parties. I'm looking forward to trying the GR502 because it's a metallic grey green shade with some sparkles and I think they are really pretty. The purple one I have already and it's so gorgeous and one of my favorite dark shades from TFS because it's very flattering. The one brown is a great neutral color for everyday, and for a neat and clean effect because it doesn't have glitters on them.

This is a perfect Christmas gift especially to someone who loves nail colors a lot. For only P285 you get to give 4 nail polishes :).

Etude House Lip Products and Concealer Haul

I am a huge fan of Korean brands especially of Etude House because their products are reasonable and the quality is really good. I have a few lip products from Etude House and I love them all but my most favorite is the 55 Kissful Tint Chou in 001. It's a lip tint with gloss that you can wear by itself. It's very long lasting and you only need a small amount of product to look refreshed and polished.

So I was in their shop last week to look for a good orange lip tint or lipstick and I think I got a little carried away. I was only planning to get one product but I couldn't help myself. I had to stop myself from getting 3 more lip products because I think I was not being practical anymore. I'll get them next time for sure :D. Prices are listed below for those who wants to know how each item costs.

Left: Dear Darling Lip Tint 03 P198
Top: Surprise Essence Concealer 01 P298
Middle: Lucidarling Fantastic Rouge 13 Coral Tangerine P478
Bottom: Tangerine Sweet Shower Lips 03 Miss Sunny Tangerine P398
Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam 30ml FREE

I love all of them a lot! I got a little crazy but I think they are worth it because the lip products are really pretty. The concealer also works really well. When I tested it in the store, it concealed my blemishes pretty well and it didn't cake so I was tempted to get it too. I was happy that they gave me a free item. I think it's part of their promotion this month. I don't know the price of the cleanser so sorry to those who are wanting learn about the cost of this product. I'll writer a review and post some swatches on each product very soon. I probably will try the lip tint first because I have been dying to have an orange lip tint.

That's all for now everyone! If you have any questions please let me know. Take care!

LA Colors Flip Top Eyeshadow Haul, Swatch, and Review

LA Colors Flip Top Eyeshadow

Hello everyone! This is another review on eyeshadows and this time on LA Colors Flip Top Eyeshadow. The moment I saw these colors I fell in love right away because they are just so pretty. I thought these shadows make a great combination in a smokey eye look.

PE210 Pink Champagne/ PE211 Berry / PE225 Chocolate

The shadows are very fine and pigmented but not pressed very well so expect fall outs during application.  You have to pack the shadows in very carefully to avoid messy fall outs under your eyes. It has few glitters which adds fun when you wear it. The colors can definitely be worn alone because it's so vibrant or you can mix and match it too. It has a creamy texture that makes it so easy to blend. You can also build the colors and lightly layer it for a bolder effect.

PE210 Pink Champagne/ PE211 Berry / PE225 Chocolate

Taken in natural light without flash

On the second photo taken without flash, it comes out matte because there are only a few glitters on the product so you don't see it reflecting on the image. During application you just need a tiny bit of product because the color pay off is really impressive. You definitely get what you see on the packaging. It comes in 3.5 grams of shadow which will last you a very long time since a little product goes a long way. The moment I opened it though, the flip cap of the Chocolate shade came off which is bummer. I was able to return it but it doesn't cover the product well anymore. However, that doesn't change the fact that this is a very good quality shadow that I will continue purchasing. They don't test on animals either (isn't that great?!). I give this product 5 STARS!!!

PROS:
Pigmented
Blendable
Buildable
Lovely colors

CONS
Packaging is not sturdy
Cap broke right away :(

I'll create a look using these product soon so do check it out. Hope you enjoy my review! :D

Lip Ice Haul, Swatches, and Review

Hello everyone! I'm on a roll today with all the reviews because it's my day off tomorrow. I don't normally have time to post in my blog because I tend to go out during Sundays. So this is another review on Lip Ice lip products. I love my carmex but I was looking for another alternative that I may like and I came across lip ice. I didn't know that SM has it already and to my excitement, I purchased 3 different products. I got the mentholatum lip balm in strawberry, a color lip balm, and a color gloss.

Mentholatum Lip Ice in Strawberry

The mentholatum lip balm gives a cooling sensation in your lips just like carmex but a little less strong. It's a clear lip balm unlike the sheer lip balm version. What I love about it is it's very moisturizing. It doesn't leave a greasy feel on the lips and I like that a lot. It also provides coolness to the lips which I find very comforting. Another good thing about this lip balm is it has SPF15 which protects the lips from the damaging effects of sunlight. It retails at P89 in Watson's.

Lip Ice Color Lip Balm in Candy Apple

With Lip Ice Color Lip Balm in Candy Apple

This one really got my attention because I like how slender and clean the packaging is. You can just fit it into your pocket very well. It's a color lip balm which means it gives color like a lipstick but has the moisturizing and soothing effect of a lip balm. It contains vitamin e, lanolin, meadowfoam seed oil, and mango seed butter to keep the lips soft and moisturized. Sometimes it's nice to have this kind of lip product  if you want to give your lips enough time to breathe but still want it to have a nice hint of natural color. No gloss needed because this one has it all. As you can see on the photo it gives a natural hint of tint and moisture to the lips. It also comes with SPF15 for UV protection. This is ideal for teens or those who are allergic to strong ingredients from lipsticks. It retails at P125.

Lip Ice Color Gloss in Candy Apple
Lips just with Lip Ice Color Gloss

Unlike the Color Lip Balm, this one is really sheer and gives a little hint of color but it gives a healthy glossy shine to the lips. It's a good lip gloss to use on top of any lipstick. You may also wear this alone if you like just a little hint of color but glossy lips. This is good for everyday natural look and also ideal for teens who are starting up with makeup. It contains antioxidants from vitamin e and SPF15 that helps maintain a healthy and smooth lips. It comes in a soft squeeze tube and retails at P125.

Hope you enjoy this review! Take Care :D

The Face Shop Nail Polish Haul

I'm beginning to become a big fan of The Face Shop's Nail Colors now. Most especially that I discovered that the top coat works very well together with the nail polish to make it last longer. When I did a review on the RD303 nail color, I failed to mention that I used TFS top coat to see if it will make the product stay on longer. To my surprise it really did help! If I used this top coat before, I would have appreciated the staying power of TFS nail polishes. It's been 4 days since I applied RD303 on my nails and it still looks the same. There is no chipping and I am very much impressed! I am not buying any top coat brand from now on :D. And because of the improvement on the staying power of TFS nail polish, I got a few more of their nail colors after I got the 3 others I mentioned on my previous post.

WH001 / WH003 / PK105 / PK101 / BR805

The first color to the left is the top coat; next is a pretty shimmery white nail color that I think will look great on toe nails; the third one is a gorgeous hot pink that will be perfect for the summer; next to it is a light pink pearl color which is also very lovely; and the last one is a nude brown that will look good on all skin tones. I love all these colors and I cannot wait to try them but I want to keep using RD303 first until it chips so I can share with you all how long it stays on clean on my nails. I'll write a review about each of these colors soon.

Cover Girl Eye Enhancers 1 Kit Haul, Swatches, and Review

I recently got a few Cover Girl Eye Enhancers and I am very happy with the shades I got because some of these I can wear alone. I can also use it together for a smokey eye look or even match it with other shadows I have. It comes in a 2.5 grams with its own applicator.

I love these shadows because they are very pigmented. A little goes a long way and they are very much blendable and buildable if you want the color to pick up more. The product is fine and very soft however since they are soft you have to be a little careful with fallouts. The staying power of these shadows are pretty good especially if you use a primer or a base shadow.

Cover Girl Eye Enhancer Shimmering Onyx # 440

Shimmering Onyx is a pretty black shadow with sparkles and is good as an outer v or outer corner color. It can also be used on the lash line instead of an eyeliner for a more subtle look. I have used this for a smokey look and they are great!

Cover Girl Eye Enhancers Blue Smoke # 595

Blue Smoke is a light blue pearl shadow that is perfect to wear alone or matched with other shades for a smokey look.

Cover Girl Eye Enhancers Mauveberry # 510

Mauveberry is a pretty matte shadow great for brow bone color. It's a little light to be worn alone but works well when matched with other shades.

Cover Girl Eye Enhancers Violet Mist # 555

Violet Mist is going to be my favorite inner eye shadow because it has a great amount of pearls that is perfect as highlights. It can also be used to lightly highlight the brows or the inner corner of the eyes.

The Face Shop Eyeshadow Haul, Swatches, and Review

I bought these eyeshadows for awhile now but just had the chance to write about it and show swatches. Haven't used these often too not because it's not good. I'm just into neutral shades as of the moment. But now that I wrote about it, I think I'm going to wear it again and post some pictures here to show how the shadows look like when applied on the skin.

They do come in a wide variety of shades but these are the only ones I got because it's easy to wear and I can match them with the other eyeshadows I have. I didn't turn on the flash on these photos so it doesn't wash off the color and you'll see how it picks up on my skin.

I like these shadows because they are pigmented and not chalky. It glides on the skin very well and also blendable. Staying power is not a question either as long as you use a primer or a base, and it can last for more than 8 hours without wearing off. If you don't wear a primer however, the color doesn't pick up very much. You'll have to build it up slowly for the color to show up good. If you don't have a primer or a base, you can always go for liquid foundation or moisturizer. Another reason why I like these shadows is because they are very much wearable like how we Asians like it. You can totally wear this alone and still look good. The shadows come in 3 grams which I think is a lot of product for the price of P295 if I remember it right. I love the packaging too because it looks presentable and well-made. In general the product is worth buying :).

The Face Shop Nail Polish Haul

I previously mentioned about liking Korean Cosmetics because of their quality and value for money. Another Korean brand I love is Face Shop. They have wide array of makeup and cosmetics to choose from. Although I have not tried their skin care products, I have gotten my hands on their makeup and nail polishes. The colors are vibrant and very wearable. Check out the latest colors I got from their shop!

Shade # and ingredients listed at the back. The bottle comes in 11ml bottle which I think is a lot of product. Check out how elegant the colors are up close.

These colors are amazing if you are into dark nail colors but don't like the dramatic effect of a black nail polish. The Face It line is more pricey at P285 but the two others are their classic nail colors I might say, which is at P95. Once you have painted your nails with these, you'll say it's definitely worth the price and you get the value for your money because it's just stunning. Reviews to follow so stay tuned!
