Ever Bilena Advance BB Cream Demo and Review

This is the first local bb cream I have tried mainly because I love the Pro Flawless Finish Foundation, so I got this too. I bought this bb cream a month ago and have been using it for a while. Ever Bilena came up with two variants. Anti-wrinkle has grayish undertone and comes in a pink packaging. Whitening has yellow tone and in a purple squeeze tube. Whitening is more suited for Asian skin so many choose it over the anti-wrinkle. I got it at Watsons for P195.00, which is a steal considering that it contains 50ml of product. That's really cheap! Is it worth it though?!

The thing I love about this bb cream is the yellow undertone. It evens out the skin tone, cancels redness on the skin, and makes you look more youthful and fresh the moment you apply it. Below is a before and after photo. You'll see that even if I have a neutral undertone, the bb cream doesn't look too bad on me. It doesn't really adjust to your skin tone like the other bb creams, so if you have darker skin, I would suggest you try out the testers first to see how you like it and decide whether you still want to buy it or  not, although you can always warm up your face with a bronzer.

If only these reasons were enough to make me keep this bb cream...

Bare face with oil-free moisturizer and primer on

After - With one layer of Ever Bilena Advance BB Cream

This bb cream has medium coverage, but I wouldn't recommend building it up because it cakes and creases. It dries matte but makes my skin look dull. I'm not sure about the anti-wrinkle one, but this bb cream has a thicker consistency, and it doesn't glide on the skin easily even with a primer. I have tried using my fingers and brush to apply it but the best tool that works for me is the sponge. It's not very blendable, and it dries quickly so it tugs my skin if I use my fingers to apply it. It doesn't blend on the skin properly. It just sits there and doesn't even fill in the pores very well unless you push on to the skin. It doesn't photograph good either.

I have oily skin, but this dries out my skin. I wouldn't recommend anyone with dry skin to use this at all. It made me break out badly, and I haven't broken out this much until I tried this bb cream, which is sad because I wanted to like it as much as I love the foundation. I broke out on my nose and brow area after I filmed the demo video, which is irritating.

Now let's talk about staying power. Terrible! Believe me, I'm an easy person to please when it comes to makeup but this just didn't work out for me. About an hour after applying this bb cream, it crumbles, cakes, creases, melts, and looks blotchy. It could not stand the heat and humidity at all. It may work better when it's cooler, I don't know, but I'm not trying this again.  I apply this with primer underneath and even mix it with my primer, but it won't work. The bb cream separates from the primer and doesn't apply evenly. Not worth the effort to be honest.

I regret that I bought this bb cream not because I spent money on it, but it made me break out badly. I haven't had a bad experience like this with any makeup at all. Not to mention the smell, I seriously can't take it. I had a feeling that I won't like this bb cream... I should have listened. I have tried this bb cream many times and gave it a few chances but it fails me every time. I wouldn't recommend this bb cream from my experience. Some people may like this, but it just isn't for me. I'd rather spend on the Pro Flawless Finish Foundation which is cheaper but works nicely, or pay a little more on a bb cream/brand known to offer good quality. I have an in-depth review and demo video on the Ever Bilena Pro Flawless Finish Foundation so check it in case you're interested.

I hope that this review was helpful. Have a good day everyone! ♥

Ever Bilena Pro Flawless Finish Foundation Review

I have been using this foundation for over a month now, and I believe it's enough time to test a product and review about it. I saw this at the counter, and I swatched it on the back of my hand, and it felt good on the skin. I loved how it glides on and blends really well. I was kind of hesitant to buy it because I haven't tried Ever Bilena's Foundation yet. I thought it wouldn't be a loss if I did, and ended up not liking it because it was only P165. Well, I'm so glad I did because I really like it. This has been my new everyday foundation since I got it!

Ever Bilena Pro Flawless Finish Foundation in Gold
Ever Bilena Pro Flawless Finish Foundation

It contains 30ml of product and comes in a frosted glass bottle with a pump so it's very convenient. I think the packaging is really neat. I got it in the shade Gold which matches my skin well. It's not too yellow, which is what I like most about it because I have neutral undertones( but generally yellow). If you are fair with neutral undertones, this is a good match for you.

Here's what Ever Bilena about the product:

"A long lasting liquid foundation that dries faster than the ordinary foundation. Leaving a soft natural finish without flaking effects. Enriched with Vitamin E that helps maintain natural skin moisture. Easily covers dark circles, redness, and minor skin imperfections. This unique foundation creates instant affinity with the skin that makes it glide on like silk and stay fresh looking as it imparts a glowing skin all day. Comes in frosted glass bottle with pump for ultimate control."

Ever Bilena Pro Flawless Finish Foundation Ingredients

Looking at the swatches below, this foundation is really runny. I have tried applying it with a brush and a sponge, but the best way that worked for me is using my fingers. This glides on the skin like silk and I enjoy every application! Take note that although the first ingredient is water, the next is mineral oil, so this really isn't as long staying as it says it is, especially if you have oily skin like me! I imagine this working a lot better and staying on longer on normal to dry skin. It has light to medium coverage and does a good job in evening out my skin. It's feels like a tinted moisturizer because it's so smooth on the skin, but this has better coverage.

It
does cover dark circles, redness, minor imperfections and hyper pigmentation. If you do, however, have blemish spots, you will need to use a concealer. It's definitely buildable as long as you give it enough time to set before you apply the next layer. You also need to set this with a powder because with the summer heat now, it will slide off and look uneven in 2hrs hours if you don't! For more than a month of using this foundation, it never once caked on me, which is great!

Ever Bilena Pro Flawless Finish Foundation - well blended

At first, I thought this was a little dark for me but when I blended it on my skin, it just matched perfectly. It does oxidize, but it doesn't make your face look orange! I use this together with my mineral foundation, and they are a great pair! It blends with the mineral foundation nicely and doesn't give you dry patches. It doesn't cake too! As a matter of fact, it makes your skin look dewy and healthy, which is how I like it! So if you have a mineral foundation just sitting on your stash because you could not find a good base for it, give this a try! If you look at the photos below, you can see that this foundation looks great. Although you can still see some redness, it covers them well and makes it look natural! You can still see and feel your skin, but it makes it look better! It doesn't sit on the fine lines and it helps to minimize the appearance of pores. Below are some before are after photos.

Here are some of the looks I have done using the Ever Bilena Pro Flawless Finish Foundation

If only this stays on longer, this would have been the perfect foundation! This just won't hold up very long on this hot weather! If you're outdoors this summer, 3hrs is lengthy enough unfortunately. It will look uneven and blotchy once it mixes with sweat and facial oil. If you're in a mall or in an area with AC though, it will last a lot longer, but you'll need to blot after about 6hrs, which to me is not bad! You can't expect this to be a long-wearing foundation for the price, right? I always use my ELF Mineral Face Primer first and set this with my Revlon or Avon Mineral Foundation, and I have to say that this combination makes me look like I have naturally good skin. No kidding! That's why I love this foundation :D.

I made a demo video using this foundation, and I will put it up after a few hours, so if you want to see how well this applies on the skin, come back and watch the demo video :).

This foundation isn't perfect, but I love how it makes me look and feel. It allows my skin to breathe while making me look neat and put together. And the best thing about this foundation is the price! You certainly can't beat that! I hope this review was helpful!

Ever Bilena Blush in Tan

The moment I saw this blush I was sure I want to get my hands on them :). I've been looking for a soft coral/tan blush for everyday look and I found this. I actually liked the chocolate shade even more but they ran out of stock :(. So I decided to get this one instead since it's the next best thing, only stronger. I only got this for P110 with 4grams of product believe it or not :). It's on a twist cap plastic packaging with a transparent top which allows you to see the shade of the blush.

The blush is a peachy coral shade with very fine gold shimmers. It's perfect for any look and a good shade for the summer. I wore it for 6 hours that I was out and it stayed on after I got back home. You can reference the picture below. Sorry I wasn't able to take a photo before I left to compare because I was such in a hurry, but it looked pretty much the same :). It's really flattering and will suit fair to medium skin.

after 6 hours (no touch ups!)

PROS:
Sheer blush
Long staying
Very easy to use
Highly pigmented
Blends with the skin nicely
Buildable yet doesn't look powdery
Product is finely milled and pressed very well

CONS:
None (can't think of any for now)

I super love the shade of this blush and it's very ideal for everyday look. I couldn't believe how inexpensive it is considering the quality. This is the first Ever Bilena blush I have tried and I am just impressed :D. My verdict is no doubt 5 STARS!!! I highly recommend this to everyone looking for an inexpensive everyday blush. I have to get the chocolate shade or amethyst which are also peachy coral shades. For the price, you can never go wrong with this product!

Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick Swatch and Review

A pleasant Sunday to everyone! How are you all doing? Like I mentioned on my previous post, I will try other shades of the Ever Bilena Matte lipstick and I did buy another one yesterday. The shade I got this time is in SIENNAS. It's in a black plastic twist tube with 4grams of lip color which I think is a lot. At the bottom of the packaging is a swatch making it easy to know what the shade is without opening the product. It retails at P99 ($2.30).

Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Siennas

I wanted to get a brownish shade but this one appeared reddish on my lips. It's creamy but only gives a sheer wash of color when applied. On the photos the lipstick is reddish with a brown under tone but just appeared red on my lips. I don't have bad things to say about this lip color as it does what it's supposed to do. It's long staying, unscented, affordable, moisturizing, and wearable. I tried using this with Mauvey on top and it created a pretty rose shade and I am loving it more. I like how it is matte but doesn't dry my lips, it doesn't have an awful smell, it stays on for long, and very pigmented. So far no irritation so I can say that this one is definitely a HIT. You would expect something less for its price but you will be surprised how good this one works and how pretty it looks on the lips.

Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Siennas

Overall this lipstick is great and I will have to buy another one as I originally intended to get a brown shade. I will have 2 more lipsticks for review coming up this week from Avon and ELF and probably another shade of this matte lipstick so please check it out too :). This product deserves another 4 STARS! Hope you like this review and find it helpful.

Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick

Hey all here's another lipstick review and this time from Ever Bilena. It's a local brand that I have heard so many good words about and I wanted to try their lipstick. I was pretty interested with the Mauvey shade and this is my very first Ever Bilena lipstick. Someone from my forum suggested me to try their lipstick so here I am. And it only retails for P99.

Ever Bilena Lipstick in Mauvey

I like the black packaging because it looks durable and clean. I also like the bottom part of the tube where it shows the shade of the lipstick without opening the product. The lipstick looks like a brown shade but the moment you apply it on the lips, it looks very pale. I like it though because it looks so natural and almost the same color as my lips. The color is really pretty and I like how it is non-drying to the lips. I really enjoy the shade because sometimes I just want to look natural and this helps me achieve that look. It's also perfect if you are wearing a dramatic smokey eye makeup and want to draw all the attention to the eyes.

Ever Bilena Lipstick in Mauvey

Check out the swatch below and see how lovely this shade it. There isn't too much drama there but your lips can still look lovely. If you are not a fan of matte lipsticks you may also add gloss on top of it. The photo below shows how it looks with a pink gloss on top. I think it looks as nice. What do you think? The gloss I used is one of my favorite gloss from the Etude House Dear Darling Gloss in 01.

Even Bilena Lipstick in Mauvey Swatch

Ever Bilena Lipstick in Mauvey Swatch with Gloss

This product is amazing because it works nice and is reasonably priced. It is also longer staying which is another great thing. One downside is that you don't get what you see on the product though because it actually looks a little dark and appears lighter on the lips. So if you can, try it on first before you buy it. I didn't expect to like this product as much but I do :). I am looking forward to trying a brown shade really soon and will post some swatches for those considering buying this product. Hope this helps you fellow makeup junkie! I give this lipstick 4 STARS!

Ever Bilena Advance Eyeshadow Swatch and Review

Hi everyone! I got 2 Ever Bilena single eyeshadows and see how it works. I was looking for a good matte brown and black that I can use for smokey eyes and ran into this. It retails at P100 and comes in 4grams of product. The packaging is flip top and pretty compact.

Ever Bilena Advance Eyeshadow in Auburn Glaze

Ever Bilena Advance Eyeshadow in Cleo

Auburn Glaze is a nice matte brown shadow that I have not used as a shadow yet. I used it on my brows and it looks and works great. It's very fine and pigmented. I have baby thin hair so I always spend time to define my brows but this shadow makes it easy to fill the gaps. If you have golden brown hair, this matches it just right. I follow the rule of thumb when it comes to coloring the eyebrows. If you have dark hair the brows should be 2 shades lighter and if you have a lighter hair it should be 2 shades darker. I used this on my Berry Chocolate Romantic Look post yesterday and it worked pretty well I believe.

I tried Cleo today on my lash line but I had a not so good encounter with it. The shadow is very fine and pigmented and removing the fallout was a pain. I had to use wipes to completely remove the color from my face. I thought of using a damp brush and lined my upper lash line to avoid fall outs but it smudged big time.

The swatch shows how pigmented the shadow is. My flash washed it out a bit but it's a very black and brown shadow. It's very pigmented that it took a long time to remove from my hands. I actually had to wash it off with water to clean it. But the brown works great as a brow color because it doesn't come off easy. The staying power is impressive. I'm not giving up on this yet. I'll try another method to work this shadow :). Overall this product is okay.
