Pond's Age Miracle Daily Resurfacing Cream SPF15 PA++

Pond's Age Miracle was my very first age defying moisturizer. When everyone else I know was using Olay Total Effects, I gave this product a try, and I loved it because it did reduce my fine lines and wrinkles. My previous job made me so tired and stressed all the time, and this face lotion really helped bring life to my face. I, however, don't use the same product for a long time, except for my Dickinson's Toner which I don't intend to replace yet, so I explored and tried other brands.

The summer heat made me break out more often nowadays. I don't like the small bumps appearing as they please, and it's making me crazy. The Olay Age Protect UV Lotion doesn't seem to do anything aside from moisturizing my skin, so I decided to go back to Ponds, which has better sun protection and does a great job in terms of defying skin aging and lightening dark spots, at least for me.

I have a love-hate relationship with Pond's products, especially on their facial wash and toner, because my skin doesn't like it most of the time. It either dries my skin (and I have oily skin), or make me break out, which frustrates me a lot so I stopped using it for now. When it comes to moisturizers though, my skin responds to it really nicely most of the time. When my skin breaks out it leaves a dark spot behind, and I always run to Pond's moisturizer to lighten it up. Although it takes time, but it does reduce the appearance of my pimple marks.

Pond's Age Miracle Day Cream Ingredients

It's been years since I last used this moisturizer, and I don't know if it has been reformulated so I opted for the small jar for the time being. I'm very careful with products I put on my face because I have been into a skin nightmare before, and I don't want to go back there ever! Plus I don't want to spend on something I may end up throwing in the trash if I ended up not liking it so might as well test it out first.

As far as I remember it still smells and looks the same, with its pink colored cream. The scent is a little strong and others my not like it, but it doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I like it a little :). The consistency of the cream is rather thick. There's high titanium dioxide content on this moisturizer, I believe, because it gives the face a white cast. If you want your face to appear fairer instantlty, you can use this as a base for your makeup instead of using a sunscreen as it's less sticky and greasy :).

Pond's Age Miracle Cream Consistency

my skin instantly appears a shade lighter after application

After massaging the moisturizer on the face, the skin feels smooth and supple almost instantly although feels a little sticky. I have been using this moisturizer for nearly a month now, and so far my skin has looked healthier and fresher, and it reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on my forehead. It also helped to lighten my blemish, which is the reason why I got back to this again. This moisturizer made my skin a bit more oily though. I cannot use this under my makeup, unless I apply a primer to help control the oil, and make my makeup stay on longer. I normally use this at home or at night. It also takes a while for the skin to absorb the product so be wary not to use a lot at a time. This will surely work best on dry to normal skin.

Overall, this moisturizer works really good. Pond's claim that this is specifically designed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots in 7 days, and it's about right. It took a little more over a week until I saw visible results, which to me is impressive.

My verdict: 4 STARS!!! This moisturizer gives the skin the nourishment it needs to keep it hydrated and younger looking, and it enhances overall skin radiance. However, I don't like that it makes my skin produce more oil. If only they have one for oily skin as well, this would have been a perfect age defying product for me. I will still continue using it, but I'm undecided yet if I'll repurchase. I may try the gold radiance one next time.
