NYX Round Lipstick Heather Review

Hello all, hope you're having a great weekend! I finally have the time to pull this nyx lipstick review today in spite of my schedule today . It's been a few days since I last posted a product review already and I actually miss it :D. As much as I want to make a new post per day I just could not do it because of my work and other personal commitments, but I'll always try my best to catch up. Anyway this review is on the NYX Round Lipstick in Heather which is a very pretty warm shade for everyday makeup. I have been into nude lip colors nowadays because I love how it can make the whole makeup look muted when I'm wearing a stronger than usual eye makeup. I got this lipstick together with B52 and Thalia which I'm also loving a lot.

Heather is a mauvey plum shade with very fine shimmers which are only visible on flash photographs. It's a cream lipstick with outstanding coverage and pigmentation. I love how the color is so true that you get the exact shade on your lips as what you see on the bullet. It  is very moisturizing and easy to apply as it glides on the lips effortlessly, and since it's a creamy lipstick it tends to settle on the fine lines of your lips so if you don't want that, apply a lip balm first. This isn't a long wear lipstick so don't expect it to last longer than 4 hours. It transfers easily too so you will need to reapply after you eat or drink. It's almost perfect if not for the soapy scent which can sometimes be overwhelming although, you get over it after a few minutes :).

beautiful shade!

I had a hard time finding the perfect swatch online and I know other people have the same concern so I literally spent quite a lot of time taking this swatch. I believe that I did a good job in capturing the true color of heather on this photo because it looks exactly the same! Isn't the color just so pretty?! Below is a swatch of Heather and B52 together to compare shades for those considering these lipsticks. Heather is more plummy whereas B52 is more pink. They are both very creamy and glossy except that heather has fine shimmers.

I love NYX lipsticks and I cannot wait to try other bright shades soon :D. For the price and the quality it is clearly the best in the market and I highly recommend it. You can get 4 of these NYX lipsticks for the price of 1 Revlon lip product so it's definitely worth buying.

My verdict: 5 STARS!!! I have a great experience with this lipstick and I'm very happy with this purchase. NYX round lipstick is great value for money. What's your favorite NYX lipstick?
