Summer Coral Makeup Look

Summer may be over but it's still hot here, and I like to wear summer colors during warm bright days. Coral is one of my favorite colors for makeup because it's so flattering! Anyone can definitely pull it off! I love how it can brighten the look without appearing too overdone.

I didn't use so many products because this is a daytime look, and you can't wear too many products during hot days because it'll look cake-y. Even though this makeup is light, it lasted a very long time. I only needed to blot my face once because the bb cream is oil free, and the powder is really good at controlling my facial oils.

Products Used:

Face
Lioele Water Drop BB Cream
Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder
NYX Powder Blush in Peach

Eyes
Almay Bright Eyes Cream to Powder Shadow in Nude
Maybelline Expertwear Eyeshadow Due in Coral Lily
Revlon Single Matte Eyeshadow in Rich Sable
Avon Simply Pretty Clear Mascara
Avon Super Extend Extreme Mascara in Black

Lips
Maybelline Baby Lips in Berry Crush
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Cinnamon Bronze

I hope you like this Summer Coral Makeup Look! If it's summer where you are, have a great time, and I hope you're enjoying the heat :D. Don't forget your sun screen! ^^

FOTD: Bronze and Coral

It's been a long time since I posted a makeup look, so I thought of doing one using the new products, I had recently been using to create a FOTD. I did this early this week but decided to review the recent makeup items I used here first. This look is very wearable and versatile as you can wear it during the day and covert it to a nighttime look.

Products Used:
Face:
Loreal Visible Lift Firming Foundation in Nude Beige
Elf Cover Everything Concealer in Light
Revlon New Complexion Loose Powder in  Translucent #2
NYC Sunny Bronzer
NYX Powder Blush in Angel
ELF Golden Bronzer as highlight

Eyes:
Elf Golden Bronzer as eyeshadow
Etude House Oh M' Eye Lash Volume and Longlash Mascara in #2
Elf Eyebrow Kit in Light

Lips:
L'oreal Colour Riche Lipstick 427 Summer Coral

I didn't use too much bronzer this time, only to contour my cheek bones because I was going for a toned down coraly flushed look. The makeup is camera friendly so this is definitely a nice makeup to sport for the night time when going out for dinner. To convert this to a more dramatic night time look, I would:

1) Apply a mid tone shimmer bronze shadow on the outer third of the eyes
2) Add a dark matte brown shadow on the outer v and bring it up to the crease, and blend well to create a smokey eye
3) Highlight the brow bone and the inner corner of the eyes
4) Line the lash line and water line with a black or brown eyeshadow
5) Smoke out the liner on the lower lash line using the matte brown shadow, and place the shimmer bronze shadow right on the lash line to make the eyes pop
6) Add falsies to open the eyes more
7) Apply a nude lip gloss

It's best to use water proof mascara and eyeliners so you don't need to touch up, especially if you're going out dancing.

please excuse the hair, I just like wearing messy hair :)

I would definitely go for this look if I was going out because it's comfortable and low maintenance. Most of the time I prefer a more subtle face over dramatic makeup, but it also depends on the occasion and who I am with :). This is also a good summer look as bronze and coral are perfect summer colors!

FOTD: Caramel Candy Summer Makeup

Hello all, how have you been doing? I hope you all had a great weekend. This post is so long over due... I was supposed to do this last week but I just couldn't do it. I want to share with you all another FOTD and this is a summer look again! I just love this season because I feel like I'm less stressed, not that I am doing less work now, but  there's less traffic and the people around aren't too busy running around and I like that. The one thing I don't enjoy about the summer is the heat! I used to love the summer heat when I was little when it was not as crazy as it is now and swimming from morning till afternoon used to be so much fun. Now the heat is not fun anymore and I couldn't stay under the sun for long! Anyway enough of my rant on the heat and let me get back on track :). I notice that I just couldn't get enough of doing different summer looks and I think this is the fourth summer makeup I've done already. Read on to find out which products I used...

I used mostly mineral makeup because it just stays on longer and it doesn't melt. On this look I especially love the eyeshadow a lot because it gives the eyes a girly and stylish effect which is very flattering.

Products Used:

Face
BYS Face Primer
The Face Shop Honey BB Cream
ELF Studio Blush in Tickled Pink

Eyes
Avon Super Magnify Mascara in Black Brown
The Face Shop Auto Eyebrow 04

Lips
Nyx Round Lipstick in B52

I placed the golden pink shadow on my lids and the caramel bronzer on the outer corner and crease to give my eyes a beautiful glow. I added the bronzer on my lower lash line to brighten up the eye area and candy girl which is a two tone golden pink shadow on the inner corner to give it a glimmering effect which looks really pretty when the sun reflects it. On my face I used mineral foundation and bronzer with bb cream and face primer underneath. I didn't need to use concealer anymore since the bb cream pretty much takes care of evening out my skin tone. Some blemishes are still visible but I like my skin peeking through my makeup because it makes it look more natural and summer appropriate. Of course on my lips I have my currently favorite lipstick b52 which neutralized the whole look. I have some bright and flattering colors on my eyes but the nude lip color made it look muted that's just perfect for the season.

I just love using mineral makeup during the summer because it does the job really well. It doesn't melt and it stays on longer. This summer dewy look is very much in and bb cream and mineral makeup together works beautifully to achieve that without looking like you put on too much makeup. Applying a face primer will even make the makeup more longer lasting and control the oil better. This is a day makeup which you absolutely can wear for night time by adding eyeliner on the water line and lash lines, falsies, and some lip gloss, and you're set! :)

FOTD: Summer Glow

On my previous FOTD post I mentioned how I love the glowy look and using a bronzer to achieve that. Here's another summer look I did which is even longer lasting. I only used powder foundation with a face primer underneath. I love this makeup even more because it looks more natural with the matte nude lips. I mixed a creamy and a matte lipstick to achieve this shade. I also didn't fill my brows too much because I want this look to be youthful, care free, and natural that's perfect for this season. I lightly applied a matte white eyeshadow to highlight some features on my face like the bridge of my nose, eye area, and tops of my cheeks. It did help to brighten my face and made me look refreshed. On my cheeks I used a blush stick base and topped it off with mineral blush to make the cheek color more longer lasting. I also used a waterproof mascara to avoid the raccoon eyes during this hot season which could end up a disaster.

Products Used:
BYS Face Primer
Maybelline Pure Stay Powder Foundation in Natural Beige
ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder (only used the bronzer)
ELF All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade
Avon Smooth Minerals Blush in Blushed
Revlon Eyebrow Pencil in Black Brown
Avon Super Magnify Mascara in Black Brown
The Face Shop Color Nuance Eyeshadow in WH001
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Buff
Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Mauvey

I kept the face makeup very simple by not using too much foundation. I didn't use concealer anymore either because I don't want to look like i have so much product on, and a little blemish here and there makes the look more natural :). I love the combination of the Maybelline and Ever Bilena lipstick, and it's also longer lasting than using regular lipsticks because I used a hint of the buff shade and applied more of the mauvey to still make it matte but with a little sheen.

The makeup looks prettier in person but I think my camera did an okay job here. I hope you like this summer look :).

FOTD: Sun Kissed Glow ☼

Hello everyone! How are you all doing? Did anyone notice how hot it was today? I woke up a little early today because of the power outage. The power company had a scheduled maintenance which lasted for about 6 hours so I just went to the mall to grab my brunch and buy some groceries instead. I wouldn't survive staying home for long hours on this very hot weather.

This season is the best time to get away with wearing a lot of bronzers than usual so if you love the glowy look, this is your moment! I pretty much love wearing bronzers everyday because it gives my face a warm glow. This is the makeup I wore today. It's more bronzed in person than on the picture and I love how simple and easy it is to do. It's been my go to daily makeup for the summer because it's suited for the season, and longer lasting without using too much product.

Products Used:
BYS Face Primer (review will be up soon)
The Face Shop Honey BB Cream
Palladio Rice Powder in Natural
Lumene Terracotta Powder in #1 Dark Glow
Avon Smooth Mineral Blush in M02 Blushed
Revlon Eyebrow Pencil
Avon Super Magnify Mascara
Etude House Sweet Shower Lips #3 Miss Sunny Tangerine

I only used minimal product but the look is very in for the summer and very wearable. I especially love the face makeup because it lasted for hours and didn't cake. The bb cream looks so natural and I just love it! After 6hrs my face didn't look oily, it almost looked like I just applied my makeup. BYS Face Primer is a rock star and I love, love, love it! This is an Australian brand which works really well for a budget makeup product. I will post a review soon!

I hope you like this FOTD. If you have your own summer look that you love wearing and want to share, kindly attach it on your comment below. I would love to see your own summer look ♥. Have fun!

FOTD: Summer Makeup

Summer is almost here which means, it's vacation time! Although the heat is sometimes too much to bear plus the humidity that's just way too much than I can tolerate, I'm still pretty excited because this is the time for going to the beach and spending great times with family and friends.

During the summer we cannot put on the same old makeup products because it will most likely melt or move. This is the makeup look that I wear during the summer and I want to share them with you all. It's very easy, everyone can do it. I really cannot use a liquid foundation this time because it's just not fit for the season in my opinion. I personally don't feel very comfortable putting too much product on my face when I know will not look good after a few hours.

This summer makeup is great when you're going to the beach, camping, or vacationing with family or friends because it's longer staying yet it makes you look fresh and glowy. On here I'm using mineral foundation which is just the perfect product for this time of the year. Mineral makeup is water proof and oil free so your makeup is going to last longer. Of course want to look good but don't want to be touching up while you're having fun, right?

As base for my mineral makeup, I used a non-oily bb cream so I can skip the concealer. You may of course use a face primer if you prefer to use that. I have nivea sun protection on my face before I applied the bb cream because I don't believe the Lieole BB Cream has any spf in it. Always make sure to use sun protection especially when you're outdoors. Use waterproof mascara and eyeliner to avoid any summer horror of melting eye makeup, it happened it me before so believe me it's not pretty :)! I used an eyebrow pencil as it's not easily washed away by water but if you have a water proof one it's better. I have eyeshadow primer on my lids to prevent my eyeshadow from moving and I used the bronzer as lid color to create a glowy and natural look. I have 2 coats of waterproof mascara on my lashes for that fresh and more awake eyes. I didn't use any blush anymore and just applied bronzer for that natural sun kissed look! You also need to protect your lips so wear spf lip balm, tinted is better in my opinion so you don't look washed out.

What I have on:

Face
Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream
Elite Mineral Foundation in Natural
Elite Mineral Bronzer in Caramel

Eyes
Elite Mineral Eye Shadow Primer
Elite Mineral Bronzer in Caramel
Avon Extra Lasting Mascara in Black
Etude House Proof 10 Auto Pencil
Revlon Eyebrow Pencil in Brown

Lips
Maybelline Lip Smooth Color and Care Cranberry Jam Lip Balm
Etude House 55 Kissful Tint Chou in #1

with Etude House 55 Kissful Tint Chou in #1 on my lips

If you want to add more color to your face you may use a lip tint which is what I have on this photo and it instantly adds more glow to the face. The photo above was taken 5 hours after I applied the makeup and you can see that it has not moved or faded. It was scorching hot yesterday and very humid but the oil control of the mineral foundation is amazing that I look pretty much the same when I first put the makeup together.

I hope you guys like this FOTD.  Stay safe, have fun, and have a wonderful summer! :)

FOTD: Bright Pink and Yellow

Hey everyone! I have another FOTD look and this is using summer colors on strong eyes. I was supposed to do this really simple but I played with the lashes I got last month to try how I like it, then I added some liners and I think I got carried away there and came up with this. I don't actually know how to call it so I just came up with the obvious LOL.

So far I really like the effect of adding some falsies but I think just not this particular one. I purposely bought some inexpensive ones to test it out and I think I'll be buying some better ones from now on. Although I wouldn't be wearing it that much because I prefer simple makeup than dramatic ones. In fact I only used half of the lashes because it looks overly dramatic for the makeup in my opinion.

What I have on:

Face
Danahan BB Cream #23
Elite Mineral Foundation in Natural
ELF Blush and Bronzing Powder (blush)
Revlon Powder Blush in Smoky Rose on the apples of my cheeks

Eyes
Maybelline Eye Studio Quad in Banana Split (pink)
The Face Shop Color Nuance Eye Shadow in YL701
ELF Cream Eyeliner in Black
Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume Mascara in Black
Maybelline Brow Definist in Brown 02

Lips
Lóreal Color Riche Lipstick in Summer Coral
ELF Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF15 in Candlelight

The combination of a peachy blush on the back of my cheeks and pink on the apples looks really pretty as it gives you this flushed summery look.  I don't use liquid foundation anymore unless I need to because I prefer bb cream's coverage more. It gives you this dewy, fresh, and natural look that is perfect for everyday use and you allow your skin to breathe. If I need more coverage I just use bb cream as base and add a layer of mineral foundation and I'm all set!

The combination of pink and yellow shadows gives this subtle but very flattering effect. Pink gives warmth to the eyes while the light yellow brightens the eyes. Looking at the photos now I think that it would have been better if I topped the black liner on my lower lash line with a pink shadow to make the look softer. This is a pretty makeup to wear during the day if you skip the lashes and the eyeliner. You may also use a pink lip tint to make it even more summery! :)

FOTD: Tangerine Lips

How are you all doing? Today's a very busy day for me and I'm still up working until now. I couldn't put on a nail polish to do a review so I decided to go with a FOTD. I have been meaning to do a FOTD using this lipstick for a week now and finally here it is! Nothing too fancy really because this is a very simple look. I just love this lip color because it gives a youthful glow to the face. I was going for a simple yet lovely everyday look for running errands or going to the mall. This is even a great look when going to the beach because it's a very light makeup except for the bright lips :). Although you may want to wear an oil-free foundation for a lasting coverage.

On my face I used Tony Moly bb cream and set it with Revlon Loose Powder. I filled in my brows using a brown shadow and made it appear more straight and thick as this makes the face look younger. I used a light brown shadow on the crease to give it more definition and Etude House Petite Darling Eyeshadow #3 on the lids. The light yellow glitter cream shadow will make the eyes look more awake and cheery. On my lashes I only applied 2 coats of mascara for a more natural look. On my cheeks I used a matte peachy blush just to give the face a flush of color. And of course on my lips I have Etude House Miss Tangerine Sweet Shower Lips #3. Kindly click the link if you want to check what I think about of this lipstick.

You can transform this to a night time look by adding more colors to the eyes. I added a medium brown shadow on the outer two thirds of my lids and placed dark brown on the outer corners to make it a smokey look. If you prefer you can also line your eyes for more definition and add some false lashes for a sexy clubbing makeup! :)

Until my next post lovelies! Good night/good day and I'll talk to you later! Take care everyone!
